4 Night Nile Itinerary: Luxor to Aswan

Day 1

Luxor

Embarkation and check-in take place in Luxor at 12:00 PM, allowing you to settle into the refined comfort of your private cabin. An exquisite à la carte lunch is then served on board before setting out to explore the East Bank of Luxor, where the grandeur of Karnak Temple and the illuminated Luxor Temple reveal the city’s eternal splendor***. Back on deck, enjoy a colonial-style teatime as the sun softens over the river. Evening brings an à la carte dinner on board, followed by the Captain’s Welcome Cocktail and lively entertainment.

Day 2

Luxor | Esna | Edfu

After breakfast, journey to the legendary West Bank of Thebes. Here, history unfolds among the Valley of the Kings—including the tombs of Tutankhamun — alongside the striking Hatshepsut Temple and the towering Colossi of Memnon. Return to the dahabeya as sails are raised toward Esna. A Mediterranean buffet lunch is served on board, followed by Egyptian teatime as the vessel gracefully passes through the Esna Lock. By evening, continue toward Edfu, where a dinner evening brings an Egyptian Night BBQ Dinner Buffet on board and entertainment.

Day 3

Edfu | Kom Ombo | Al-Hirbiab Island

Begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the most complete and best-preserved sanctuaries of the ancient world. Back on board, sail toward Kom Ombo, with a hands-on cooking class to enrich the morning. An à la carte lunch is served as the dahabeya glides past the cliffs of Gebel Al Silsila. Later, enjoy Nubian teatime on deck before an evocative after-sunset visit to the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris. Continue to Al-Hirbiab Island, where a Nubian Family-Style dinner is hosted on the golden sands, accompanied by traditional entertainment.

Day 4

Al-Hirbiab Island | Aswan

Early in the morning, an optional excursion to Abu Simbel is available for those who wish to explore this iconic site. The dahabeya then sails south toward Aswan, where a BBQ buffet lunch is served on board. In the afternoon, visit the enchanting Temple of Isis on Agilkia Island. If time allows, continue to the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, enduring symbols of modern and ancient ingenuity. Return for an elegant à la carte farewell dinner, followed by evening entertainment on board.

Day 5

Aswan

At dawn, guests joining the optional Abu Simbel excursion will proceed with an early check out, while others enjoy breakfast before on board before the regular 8:00 AM disembarkation.
